Terms & Conditions – Master Handyman Repairs
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your membership with Master Handyman Repairs (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing or using a membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Services are offered exclusively within the State of Florida.
1. Membership Services
Memberships provide labor-only handyman services for qualifying minor repairs and maintenance. Materials are NOT included and must be supplied or paid for separately by the member unless expressly agreed to in writing.
Each membership includes up to three (3) standard services per month, plus emergency service as needed, subject to availability, reasonable scheduling, and the nature of the request. Additional services may be available for an extra fee.
Services are limited to general handyman work and do not include major construction, remodeling, structural repairs, or work requiring specialized or trade-specific licensing under Florida law.
2. Property-Based Membership
Memberships are property-based, not person-based.
Only ONE membership per property is permitted.
Only one active property may be covered per membership at a time.
Memberships may be transferred to a new address within Florida at the member’s request, provided there is no overlap in coverage and the prior property is no longer active under the membership.
3. Scheduling & Access
Service requests must be submitted through the Company’s designated scheduling method. Members must provide reasonable access to the property at the scheduled time.
Missed appointments, cancellations without reasonable notice, or denied access may count toward the monthly service limit.
Emergency services are provided at the Company’s discretion and are intended to address urgent issues that pose a risk of damage or safety concerns.
4. Exclusions & Scope Limitations
Membership services do not include:
Materials, parts, or supplies
Permits, inspections, or code compliance upgrades
Work outside the scope of general handyman services
Cosmetic or elective upgrades unless approved in advance
The Company reserves the right to refuse any service request that is unsafe, unlawful, beyond the scope of services, or prohibited under Florida regulations.
5. Payments, Cancellations & Re-Subscription
Membership fees are billed according to the plan selected at signup.
If a membership is canceled and later re-subscribed, the new membership will require a minimum six (6) month commitment, regardless of the property address.
Unused services do not roll over, and no refunds are provided for partial months or unused services unless required by Florida law.
6. Member Responsibilities
Members are responsible for:
Ensuring the property complies with applicable Florida building and safety codes
Disclosing known hazards or unsafe conditions
Securing pets, valuables, and personal property during service
The Company is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, concealed defects, or damage resulting from structural, electrical, plumbing, or material failures beyond the scope of handyman services.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Florida law, Master Handyman Repairs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from membership services. Any liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the membership during the most recent billing period.
8. Modifications to Terms
The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the membership constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
9. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, and any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within Florida.
